On November 9th, Keio University and the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 established a new university-wide partnership agreement and will begin a student exchange program in the 2007 academic year. The two universities will also explore other opportunities for collaboration.
Lyon 3, one of three universities founded in 1896 as the University of Lyon, is based in the second largest city in France and enjoys an excellent reputation both in France and abroad. The university offers educational programs in law, business studies, humanities, languages and philosophy. Its three-site campus and facilities are home to six faculties and institutes, approximately 22,000 students (including nearly 4,000 students from abroad) and over 2,500 faculty members.
